“I became acquainted with Bob Eberle just less than a year ago when i joined NYREIA in Troy, NY. Not knowing what to expect from such a group, and being a newbie at this business, I was pleasantly surprised to see what the group had to offer and the way Bob had designed it. He has had a some top speakers in their areas of expertise, two of whose Boot Camps I have signed up for and look forward to with great expectations. In addition, Bob has taught several workshops which have opened new horizons for me. Just this last week, a group went on a "Deals on Wheels: bus trip during which we visit several houses for sale; included is Bob and his experience and expertiseas well as a home inspector who points out the work to be done on each house, and a real estate agent who can draw up papers for a sale right there on the bus. Last trip there was also a real estate sttorney who can answers legal questions. This is an interesting, educational, and potentially lucrative experience and takes place periodically. A couple months ago, Bob and I transacted real estate business which went very smoothly and to my benefit. Bob has been responsive from the memberships' requests to tweak the meetings. He offers a mentorship program which has helped some members get started. And, Bob has a NYREIA website with a forum for people to get wuestions answered between meetings, houses that are being wholesaled by other members, articles of news in the industry, a store of goods that are helpful to investors, as well as a list of recommended vendors from the group. The memebership includes brandie-new folks as well as seasoned, successful investors, and all levels in between. The networking amongst the members is a great benefit and exposure to the vendors who set up booths at the monthly meetings.
